Survivor #1

Type of Aggie currently: Undergraduate

Classification/age at time: Freshman

Location of crime: On-campus

Was the crime reported: No

Reasoning for decision to report or not report: "I did not feel it was severe enough to warrant and I did not want to deal with the "you asked for it" reaction."

"Two of my female friends had gone out partying and I went to go pick them up and watch over them in my dorm room. I was talking to a corps guy I had met on Tinder. He asked if he could come over to help me watch my friends. He had told me he knew one of the guys in my Tinder profile pictures, so I felt more inclined to trust him. I let him come over and we basically just watched movies since my friends were asleep. Once he realized my friends were pretty knocked out, he began to force himself on top of me. He tried to make out with me, and I repeatedly asked him to stop. He then put his hand in my shorts and under my underwear and started to touch me inappropriately. I again asked him to stop, and told him he should leave, but he insisted "I know you like it" and began groping my chest and bottom with his free hand. He only stopped once one of my friends woke up feeling nauseous and I had to take her to the bathroom. He made a few more moves on me until around 4 am when he left back to the corps dorms. I did not tell my friends. He also added me on twitter and instagram and stalked my profile for a few weeks before I blocked him. I did not report him, nor did I tell anyone about what happened. Since I let him into my dorm, I felt that this was my fault."
